Chandra

Chandra was shot only a few days after Nepal’s huge earthquake in April 2015. It follows the Seven-year-old Chandra and his elderly grandfather who have to travel on foot through earthquake-hit Kathmandu in order to get to hospital where Chandra’s mother has just given birth. Grandfather who knows the sheer scale of the destruction, tries to protect Chandra from the grim reality of the natural disaster. While gradually coming to terms with the fact that the city is no longer the same, and that the hospital may not even stand. Official Selection, Locarno Film Festival 2016 and Busan International Film Festival 2015.
I was the sound designer on this short film. Also, supervised all aspects of the audio post production.
