Vindication Swim

Directed by Elliot Hasler, Vindication Swim is the inspirational story of swimmer Mercedes Gleitze, who, having battled the waters of the English Channel and the patriarchal society of 1927, is forced into a fight to retain her record as the first English woman to swim the Channel.

It was a great fun to create all the sonic aspects of 1927 England including subtle details of cars, typewriters, and cameras. This was also a great experience in terms of designing sounds of the ocean of such a massive scale. Vindication Swim was at least 40% set at sea.
